Re: Where have the people gone? going?

     I agree,

I have been on this list for three years and every year this happens.
i don't know how many of the original people are still out there but
it doesn't seem like too many. it seems that the people that have to
have it their way all the time have run them out of town. so its no
small wonder why when you ask a question you don't get the answers
your looking for. all the big guys who know what they are doing have
left the list because they are tired of new people coming in and
trying to tell them how to do something that they started in the first
place. if you are new to something don't assume you know what is
happening and how it is going to happen. this list used to be a fun
place to share jokes, life experiences, and the like... not
necessarily pertaining to pumpkins all 100 percent of the time.
myself I Don't have time for whiners and never will. so if your here
to whine about the list don't expect any help from me. quit sniveling
and do something productive like smile and have a little fun in life.
that's what it's all about to me. also if you really want to bitch
back at me for my outlook and opinions please do so privately so i can
personally delete you!!! ha ha ha ;-)

In my many off the record posts, Joe Mills related to me that he had decided
to unsubscribe from the pumpkin group. I, for one, will miss him. I have been
in the group since nearly day one. Only a few have been here longer. I have
learned a lot which I would have in no other way had access to. I don't know
the answers. I am not even sure I know the questions. I do though know how I
personally feel about all of this and it isn't a good feeling. I think that if
we are to continue to function at the level we have up until now that we need
definite rules about what is and isn't appropriate. I am not certain I know.
Is this group supposed to be just giving unemotional answers to questions
about pumpkin growing? Are we to be sharing experiences and the ups and downs
of what we are doing? How does one go about separating the two?
