     my experience is that the plants will grow toward the sun (south)
     if your in the northern hemi.

Can anyone explain " is there a difference" of the amount of sunlight 
obtained by the direction you plant your vine........I cannot see the 
difference my patch runs in a south westerly direction and is in an open 
field.  Seems like no matter how I plant the plant the sun passes over 
it......brock
