Re: aeration

Brock - I wasn't aware that deep soil oxygenation was an issue!  Do roots
have to absorb  oxygen from the soil in order to transpire water?  I
supposed could leave my house heat driven compost aerating system in place
during the growing season and see if it helped any, although it only
effects a tiny 6' x 6' area.  Not much in comparison with a 1000 sq ft
patch.
