HI Cori,
i start my seeds one week before i plan to put them out.
if you start them too early you will stunt their growth.
i live in minnesota so i get mine started in a mini greenhouse once i
put them out. i usually start around mid may. i'm going to try
beggining of may this year. if you want some seeds i will give you
some if you send me a s.a.s.e. make sure its a bubble pack so the
seeds dont get crushed. my address is:

At the risk of sounding like a newbie, which I am, I need advice.
I'm a gardener in Central New York, in zone 4, my yard is a particularly
cold microclimate. (I still had good daffodil leaves in August!)
When should I start my seeds? Which catalog should I buy them from? How long
do I want to grow them indoors before plantiong?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Cori
