The Pacific Northwest Giant Pumpkin Growers (PNWGPG) are seeking new
ways to generate funds at the October GPC weigh off.
The Pumpkin Grower Associations looks for new ways to generate funds to
make their weigh off more attractive for the following:
- establish new membership
- entice the current members to grow larger pumpkins.
I know, I am leaving out a few other points, but what the heck...
The PNWGPG will offer a seed for auction to support their prize
winnings. This seed will be the mother of all pumpkins which will be
announced at a later date.
Not to hinder OSLG auction process, I will tell more about the seed when
they determine the final winner of Auction #2.
For the PNWGPG Auction, I will be monitoring all bids and will keep
people abreast on what is going on. The only difference will be, that
you might tell one of your non-internet pumpkin growers that we will be
auctioning off the mother of all seeds.
Remember, this PNWGPG auction is not for individual profit. It is
only to support the local pumpkin association .
