Greetings:
Wanted to share with everyone what I got for my 27th wedding
anniversary......a 5hp 4 stroke Rear Tine tiller! Yup, my very own. Made by
Yard Machines, MTD Corp. A steal at $549 brand new. Dealer threw in a qt of
high grade oil, too.
Took it out to the field, and it really does well. Tines are opposing, and the
cover is a rake/leveling device that leaves a smooth path. My only complaint
is that it is a bit heavy, but surprisingly easy to use and powerful enough to
chew up clods of matted weeds, etc.
Really was happy to have this. I know this is unusual, but my husband HATES
jewelry and gifts like that.....he would much rather invest in something
practical. My only concern is that he will chew up the yard just for practice!
