Re: Tillers-reply

Wayne:

I suppose she might let you use it, but I'm sure she'd want her name on it.
Sue's John Deere with a Mighty Mabel logo painted on the side! I love the
idea! Yup! I can see it. (Wayne, you can stop laughing now!)

Seriously, I went to the Florida State Fair in early February (doesn't that
sound silly, having a fair in Feb?) and saw the Ford New Holland Boomer series
tractors (the 1924, be still my heart!!!!). I was so favorably impressed, I
took my husband to see them and he nearly bought one! $15K poof, in one fell
swoop! It was the perfect size, and I told him how nice a painted pumpkin
vine would look up the white roll bar.....it would have been the ultimate!

I have to be careful about telling my husband about things I like......he goes
behind me and buys it as a surprise! It's a real surprise when my bank account
has holes in it, too.

I have become quite sensitive about spending because we have just come out of
the woods after three years of multiple kidney surgeries that nearly cost me
my life. I can understand how he wants to favor me, but reality is the medical
bills clobbered us, and we're just beginning to recover from the financial
devastation of $155K non covered medical expenses. The roto-tiller was the
perfect gift, considering the circumstances.
