Re: Hot box or warmer?

I recently built a box approx. 18"x18"x18" with wooden frame and covered
with some old paneling. Put a hinged glass lid on top. It has a shelf
about 4" from the bottom under which I placed 2-30 watt light bulbs.
The bulbs are connected to a variable transformer(a simple lamp dimmer
will do). The temperature can be controlled within a degree or two by a
little adjustment of the lamp intensity. A bowl of water can also be
added to increase humidity. I tested some seeds in it and results were
very good.
