   I don't think it is the light levels that affect wilt. I have had bright
sunny days at 70 degrees with no wilt. A bright sunny day at 90 degrees
produces extensive wilting. I have not done a total study on it, but am
confident you would see more wilt on a sunny day than a cloudy day. Brilliant
sun on the leaf surface is bound to increase leaf temperature, so a 90 degree
cloudy day should have less wilt than a 90 degree sunny day. Not from the
light itself, but indirectly from the heat that is generated from the light.
