How many pumpkins should be left on one plant? I beleive Andersen only had
one on each plant and grew the biggest, but the Larue's had two and their 1016
still cracked. I had thought the second pumpkin was a shock absorber, but in
the above situations the theory did not work. Also, the plant with two
pumpkins would have grown a bigger pumpkin. Does it make any difference at
all whether or not there is 1,2, or 3 on each plant? Also, its kinda nice to
have that second pumpkin as a back-up in case the main one blows (I only have
one patch).
