Sorry to be out of touch so long. I have been fighting massive pain,
swelling & lameness in my right leg for the last 4 years. Numerous
testsings over the period, including nuclear bone scans, etc, never gave
us anything conclusive. Finally, early this month, a massive bone
infection exploded from above the ankle, & I was rushed to the hospital
for major surgery. I have been in the hospital for quite a while. I am
out, now, but have visiting nurses & daily whirlpool sessions at the
hospital. I also have a catheter directly to my heart, & will be on IV
antibiotics for the next 8 weeks or so.
Tthe reduction in pain is tremendous, & I feel wonderful, despite what
is minor pain compaired to what was present before.
Please pray for me. I am going to make it, but it will be a long uphill
battle.
