Duncan,
For those members who are unable to attend the March 27 spring meeting is
there someone who can act as proxy bidder for the absent member?
What I had in mind was that a member sends to the "proxy bidder" a list of
the seeds they want, with an "order bid" saying they will bid up to X$ per
seed. Implicit would be they want as many seeds as can be purchased with the
funds allocated to that seed.
As well as the seed request, funds would have to be mailed to the proxy
bidder in advance, payable to the PNWGPG, along with a large bubble pack for
the seeds, and any change, to be mailed back to the member.
Without some type of ability to serve members who can't attend I am certain
the PNWGPG will lose out on the a fair amount of income. Why, I alone have
spousal OK to spend $50 (early birthday present).
