My 2 cents~
I'm finding this fellow's story hard to believe. I lived in northern NY for 18
years and in the Chicago area for a couple of years-keeping a pumpkin on the
vine growing until December is not doable. I believe in global warming, but
this feat is too much.
The ground was frozen solid in December (and probably Nov, as well), with air
temps in the teens at best. Anything above ground would have been lost, cover
or no.
Burying vines how deep? C'mon.
Nothing adds up here. Trying to keep an open mind about this, but having a
very hard time....
