The 1400 pound pumpkin.

I am the brother-in-law of Rocky Pacelli.  I don't care much about pumpkin
growing but I do know for a fact that Rocky's pumpkin was well over
1100 lb..  As for 1400, I am not sure.  He was on the local Chicago news
in the fall.  And I know he will send seeds if you haven't crossed him
in the past.  My sister told me somebody is bad mouthing Rocky because
he wouldn't give up any seeds.  That is true but the person who asked
for seeds gave very misleading info last year.

Rocky is a very very laid back guy and it is not at all unusual for him
to pass up the opportunity to make some money.  That is why the three
pumpkins were not weighed.  They were pictured in news stories both on TV
and in the papers.  Rocky basically has returned his backyard to nature.
His growing is really unrestricted to the dismay of his neighbors.
The pumpkins are probably still in the backyard and he probably has pulled
out only a couple handful of seeds.  That is, for lack of a better term,
just how laid back he is.

I know for a fact he would not lie.  He has nothing to gain because
he doesn't care what people think.  And when I say he doesn't care,
he really doesn't care!  My entire family can attest to that.

I would leave my real name but I don't need people calling me like they
are calling my sisters place.
