Brock,
I kept a note on my desk since then! Its that simple regarding the exact
date.
He called me before that and after that - he called me the day before the
weigh-off and demanded that I help him get it to a weigh-off. I was busy with
many things. I figured if it weighed the 1,000 lb he was claiming at the time
he would get it to a WPC Weigh-Off just a short distance away in Des Plaines.
I'm 800 miles away with things to do. How much can I do for people? If it
weighed 1,400 lbs it might have weighed 1,500 and he would have had a prize of
$50,000.00 USD at Clarence NY.
I'm more than skeptical about this - I just don't believe it!
