I've seen the picture and i'd wager that that pumpkin is over 1200 lbs. easy !!!
look how small that guys head it compared to that pumpkin !
either he's a miniature or that's a huge pumpkin !
I agree with Brock - this guy doesn't think like us-
he doesn't care- just like i don't care about tomatoes and sunflowers-
but i still grow them every once an a while and have some big and tall
ones too- I grew sunflower on year that were taller and better looking
than anything I saw at the state fair- but I didn't know that till i went to
the fair- I didn't even realize they had a sunflower category- it made
sense looking back on it- they have a category for most everything.
next time this happens we need to get someone who knows what is
going on to help out that poor guy so he can be a world record holder .
But hey - i like the chatter that all this has produced-
what better conversation for the off season than the
mysterious 1400 lber !!! just killing time waiting for spring to come.
Three Cheers for Rocky, Ray, Don, and all the others perpetrators.
Hip Hip Hooray, Hip Hip Hooray, Hip Hip Hooray !!!

ps- i think i was only off by a factor of two on my guess off that
pumpkins weight.
