re: 1400 lb pumpkin

Now that I've seen the picture of the pumpkin I remember someone that I
work with telling me in Oct about this truck driver/biker guy who grew a
1000 lb pumpkin.  I can't remember if she saw it on TV, read about it or
heard it on the radio.  I do remember her telling me that he said he
grew it for the fun of it and did not have it to a weighoff. I think
what threw me off was the thing about it being 1400 lbs.  No matter what
it weighs it still looks like an impressive pumpkin.  Too bad we'll
never know it's real weight.
