I get my pumpkin email in plain text, ancient UNIX mail format.
No fancy schmancy email readers here; nice and secure from viruses. :-)
I've noticed in the digests I get that several people have a small
attachment to their mail, and it says the application is "ms-tnef".
Of course, since it's "dumb" UNIX mail, the entire attachment comes
to me as a page full of jumbled ascii characters.
Can anyone tell me what this attachment is? Is it a colored text signature?
What is ms-tnef? I don't have ms-tnef on my Windows95 box, and I can't see
what the attachment truly is even by looking on the archive on the web.
Thanks for any insight you might offer.
