All your e-mails are clean, the one you sent to me and the ones sent by you to the list. I have not seen the happy99 anywhere else than in Bruce's e-mail. Even Bruce can't be blamed, he probably didn't even know he was infected. Anyways lets all just try to forget this little crisis and get back to pumpkins. Whadda ya think, huh?

It has been implied by at least one public message on this list that I
had something to do with the recent Happy99 virus/worm/Trojan horse
debacle.

For the record, I did not.  I received the file like many of the rest of
you apparently did.  The sender was someone unknown to me.   I wrote the
list and added my warning to others that were already there.

This is the first time I have ever offered to distribute a file to any
group on the web.  I sent out about 100 copies of the Pacelli photo.  I
have no personal stake in the story, no personal knowledge of Rocky
Pacelli.  I have not even spoken to him on the phone as some of you
have.  Distributing this photo was more trouble than it was worth to me
personally, but I knew everybody on the list was curious and would enjoy
seeing the thing and forming their own opinions.

Because of  the sender of Happy99 and the individual who implicated that
I had something to do with it, I will think more than twice before
offering a service like this again, if I ever have the opportunity.
