squash or pumpkin?

I have to reduce my grow space this year, so I will be doing 1 squash
and 1 pumpkin. I have very good pumpkin seeds and only fair squash
seeds. My question to those who have input is this. If I pollinate a
female squash flower with a male pumpkin, will odds be that it'll be a
squash or pumpkin?Does the male influence more than female, or visa
versa?Just asking for input on this. I figured others have had similar
