RE: germinating seeds
I wouldn't leave my children, pets or seeds in a hot car, Marc. The temps
can go well above 100 degrees in a hurry. Besides, the car would necessarily
go through a serious cool-down during the night. You want something with a
more constant, consistent, controllable temperature.
I think your seeds would prefer being comfy rather than toasty.

Subject: germinating seeds
Hi, This will be my 1st year trying to grow the giant Atlantic Dill. I've
read everything I could find on the internet about it, and I currently have
seeds in damp paper towel in a plastic bag. I am trying out a method that
involves putting the bag of seeds in my car during the day so that the temp
will be nice and toasty. Has anyone tried this? Or is this a totally bad
idea? Any opinions are welcome. I am just wondering if I should start a
backup patch of seeds if I messed up this batch.
Marc
