hardest shelled, most perectly round pumpkin for his punkin gun.. Read
story, and let me know of the hardest pumpkin shell you know of.. I
would think Hubbard squash, but he wants pumpkins... And of coure,
Hubbards arent round either.. Any ideas?

 Rocky,

We are in the process of building the baddest
punkin on the planet and intend to be the first
to shoot a pumpkin one mile. Our gun has a
10" bore with 100' of barrel. One of our biggest
problems is proper ammo. We need rock hard
perfectly round pumpkins that weigh no more than
10 lbs. Where might we find the seeds for such a
pumpkin and do they make spherical moulds for
them. Attached are pictures of our gun Second
Amendment. Any help would be appreciated.
         Thanks,

         Bruce Bradford

Rocky,
The pumpkin variety Rocket is a very dense field pumpkin. Appropriate name
too. I wouldn't worry about a mold. Just grow a bunch of them and find one
that fits the bore.
