The problem is that the rest of the list takes it literally. If you can't
tell, some people on this list hate me. I never understood why, and they
never give any specific reasons either, but they simply just HATE me!
I do my best to help people out if it is something I know about or can find
the info on, like identifying insects which everyone else on the list
MISidentified and that gave the wrong advice to kill it off. I stepped in to
clear up the situation and gave the proper identification and advice, as I
am sure others, upon their own investigation, will agree. (Although probably
won't admit it).
Also I posted detailed posts about germination and flourescent lighting for
seedlings, which I got a lot of email thanking me for.
I also examined detailed genetics and posted about it to get other's views
on things, hoping to do some brainstorming with the rest of you guys.
No matter how much useful information I post to the list, no matter how much
I try to contribute, or how many people I spend my time trying to help out,
all I get is public bashing. Like I am this terrible person or something. I
never understood it. Now if I even mention someone;s NAME in a post they go
mental. Go figure.
It's no use letting it get to me anymore. My email box is ALWAYS open for
all of these people to write me anytime they want, if they care to explain
in detail what their problems are with me. I would love to get whatever they
are resolved. The only things I have figured out is that some don't like it
when I show any sense of humor, (yet others can joke around, and no one has
a problem with them). Some don't like it when I give out advice because I
"cannot possibly be that smart". I never said I was an "expert" on anything.
Some on this list have probably been growing pumpkins longer than I have
been alive. But I do know a lot about some things that others might not. So
if someone asks for help, and I believe know the answer, I post a reply to
them. Now if any information I give out IS wrong, or anyone thinks it is,
just post a correction and back your data up, like I do mine. I have no
problem with that. That's the way it should work!
Sheesh....why can't we all just get along. Debating is great, but bitterness
towards each other and even hatred, is just stupid.
