RE:

Your reply gave me a good laugh at work. But seriously... It's not actually
in my "patch"(if you consider my 2X20 piece of dirt next to my house a
patch, I plant the seeds there and let the vines roam the side of the
duplex. Saves me from mowing it), so I don't think it'll hurt the pumpkins
any...will it? I have dug it up yet, it's still a novelty.

Good golly, Marc, get those things out of your patch immediately! It's hard
enough keeping a normal Atlantic Giant fed let alone one with the
"munchies"...

Hmmm, of course, the borers will be much easier to find, what with all that
giggling.

I was poking around my yard yesterday and I happened to come across a "weed"
that happens to look like another type of illegal "weed"(if you know what I
mean) I did not plant it there, is it possible that it just appeared in the
"wild"? There seems to be 3 "plants", 1 by my pumpkins, and 2 in the
backyard. I live in a duplex in a field, and we have 20% grass and 80%
"normal weeds" in our lawn. We did check the plant(compared to pictures) and
it does "look" like the real deal. Has any one come across this in their own
lawn? Is there another plant that just looks like "marajawanna"?
