Main vine kink...what to do?

I need some help deciding what to do with the main vine on my 449 Reynolds.
Key facts:

- Between May 13 and 14, the main vine started turning, and now has a kink
where it turns and hits the ground, about 9 inches from the stump base.

- The main vine is growing well, and is obviously getting what it needs (4
inches a day new growth in cold rainy weather), but space in my garden is
limited, and I have to decide which two vines to promote.

- There are three other robust vines developing on the stump side of the
kink (10, 11, and 12 inches each), and some of them are headed in a better
direction than the main vine.

Will the kink in the main be a problem later on? I really don't have room
for more than 2 vines in my patch. How should I terminate the unwanted
vines?

Please take a look at photos of the kink at

And the whole plant is shown at

Thanks for your help!
