Re: Zoo-Doo in DC
John
I've met Joe several times and you are right, he is witty and knows lots
about pumpkins. He has been at the weigh off in Altoona a couple of times.
The last I talked with him was late October when he stopped by the Vice
President's residence while some of us growers were getting things organized
for the Halloween party there. He was doing well then. Joe's a cool guy and a
very talented artist and it would be great to have him back on the list but I
think it's unlikely we'll see him here in the near future. Then again, Joe
might be one of the least predictable guys I've ever met so who knows, he
might show up tommorrow.

Does anyone know how he is doing? His comments were helpful and witty. I
believe that he worked at Dumbarton Oaks and had a deal with his employer
that allowed him to farm on their time and property.
Good deal!
