Well, I have four plants in, started all seeds in wet paper towel tec. on May
1. Now the the leaves are 12" on the largest, two ten inchers an one nine
inch.

Bad news is that the stem on my number one plant, a Hester 99 850.5 was
rocked back and forth in the wind and developed a one inch hole which
occupies about one third of the circumference of the stem. I packed it in wet
sand, but it is still sort of droopy compared to the other plants. So it may
not make it through next week.
Darn.
