Yellow Leaf Veins

Hello List,

Here in southern Ontario, hardiness zone 6a, we have had a cool, windy,
very wet spring (since May 1st) and I have a question regarding yellow
veins in the leaves.

I have three plants, one 417-Cramer and two 632-Papez. The Cramer is
fine, and the leaves look great. However, I noticed some yellow in the
veins of the third set of leaves yesterday, in both Papez vines and it is
slowly progressing up the viens, into the leaf. Right now, it is only
third set of leaves which is affected.

Both hills were prepared in the same fashion; two foot square hole dug,
filled in with well mixed rotted silage and topsoil, a hill formed, and
the plants put out May 1st with frost protection. Papez affected, Cramer
not.

No need to water so far with all our rain.

Any help on what is causing the veins to go yellow?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Tom
