Not to late, just put some in yesterday.  Very fast growth here and will
catch most growers in end of July that planted as much as 30 plus days
before us..  Think your on the same Latitude. as central Ca, but might be
wrong without a map.  Shade and misters for the summer heat.  The east
coast has the humidity, which also tends to play a factor in AG growth.. 
A humid day here is rarely above 30% with a 70% evening, sort of like
opening your oven and jumping in.
