24 degrees in Coventry RI, water jugs kept inside green-houses were frozen.
It's a good thing I covered the plants styrofoam boxes.

It's worse than that for some farms in New England.  25 degrees kills 80 -
90% of fruit tree blossoms, many Orchards were in full bloom.  I have 38
trees, glad I don't grow them for a living, lost most of the crop.

Pumpkins came through fine under blankets, sure could use some rain though.  
Last time I had a freeze close to this was in 1977, then it snowed on the 9th
& 10th, (9")  Where is global warming when you need it!  Who knows maybe it
will turn out to be a great Pumpkin year.
