I picked the best seeds I thought I had for a nice light
orange to cream color. I planted 8 seeds in an incubator, similar to Mr.
Checkon's on the PGPGA sight (nice seed box, by the way). 7 of 8 germinated,
except the 769 Brown although I still have it at 85F in wet paper towel, I think
it's germinating today or aborting. A white seed-like area is starting to
protrude from it. I'll keep fingers crossed.
Planted last week in mound #1:
Zunino 789, Skinner 1109, and Clouse 686
Mound 2:
Rockwell 771, Bhaskaran 656, and Black 682
The Zunino 567 is just 2 days germ.
The 771 up first, Zunino 2nd, both these plants have some
serious spunk and have 2nd true leaf half-dollar size. 656 a close 2nd.
The race is on!
