Re: Why did you pick your seeds

Wow there are alot of methods out there for selecting seeds!! I guess we all
just attempt to do the best we can with what we have and hope that our
attempts are worthy. Me? I hope to use the 815 checkon x 935 Lloyd seed
that I have aquired (only have one so I'll baby that one) with another seed
that carries 760 patrick x 815 checkon. Should make a nice cross. The
others depends on the seedlings that have sprouted, the strongest best
looking will get the plots. It is a fun genetics game and test of skill to
see if we can take the plant and it's fruit all the way. I have enough room
and help (there are 4 of us) to take on 5 plants this year. Yea, I hear ya
all. It is alot even for someone who has grown for many years, but farming
isn't new to us and I have a good idea of what we are up against. Giving
this and every year my best shot. It will be a fun adventure, probably not
as interesting or difficult as growing postage stamps and a pack of
Marlboros (lol Kathie).
