483 Lanterman- Dill Award Best Looking

List,
Has anyone ever planted this seed? I've got one up and the seedling is a
monster. Would like to know if anyone has planted, shape, color, weight? It
is the 801 Stelts X 915 LaRue.
Patch update. Planted in garden as of today. 600est. Reynolds, 801
Stelts, 705 Stelts, 805 Pukos, 846 Cali, 544 Wallace.
The 867 Mombert is up in its peat pot and appears to be a double vine
plant. For you new growers, if you see your true leaves come out in pairs
like your seed leaves this is a good indication the plant is going to double
vine on you. Your true leaves should come out one at a time.
The 1010 LaRue has germinated very poorly, as has the second 1140
Stelts.
White seeds seem to rot faster and although I'm a fan of planting my seeds
flat, I think white seeds should be planted pointed end down. Get them up
quick and pull the seed coat off them if you have to.
We have had no rain now in about a month. I will be in trouble very
soon if we do not get some rain. It is already a dust bowl in my garden. My
well cannot keep up. ( I'm in CT) Showers went by yesterday but I did not get
a drop.
