Holmes, my opinion/experience would say to start from north end and put your 
first mound about 5' in. Put it in the middle 5' from edge. Your second 
mound should be about 25'-35' south from first mound. Always let your plants 
grow to the south when possible. You'll find that you don't need much space 
behind your mounds. You'll let your main vine run straight out forward from 
the mound. You'll probably train one vine 90 degrees each running east/west 
from mound. This will give you the start of x-mas tree configuration. Hope
