We live in an area that gets grasshopper swarms every few
years. I use sevin in a bait. Gets 80-90% control. May have to use
it several times. The damage to your trees and shrubs looks worse than it
is. They will recover from 100% leaf loss. Always been able to
control around the pumpkins for little damage. Other plants will need
water when they leaf out again. Good Luck.
