my plants are looking good...well thay have been doing
great. i'm in the desert so it is kinda hot 108 yesterday
but the plants didnt wilt. they do have some shade but very
little. well anyways...to get to the point i planted 2
maston 570's and one has a pumpkin 100- 150 lbs. another
good sign is it looks a lot like the 1140 stelts, well i
dont know really but it looks good and is getting bigger
fast. so i have high hopes...i'll keep posting every few
days.
now i just need to have it keep gaining weight till the
weigh offs...does anybody know if plants lest that long or
does the pumpkin grow that long. this is the first time i
started this early and only my 2nd year so...i dont really
know. the seed were planted on 2/4/01 and the pumpkin is
only a few weeks old. i was going to keep a daily record of
the patch but i got lazy sorry!..well i did for a while i
can post it if anyone want to see it. it goes till like 3/25
but it has a few missing days. and i think i had a slow
start, but i didnt really worry because i have lots of time.
well good luck to everbody! i hope you grow a huge one, well
i would like one too.
my best is only 82 lbs (but not on an AG) but now i have the
big boys! well girls sense it is the female blossem.
