Mine sprouted a root in 48 hours and germinated 3 days later
Andrew...you have your terminology wrong.Germination is the beginning growth of a seed....I think its safe to say that "rootage" is the first visual sign that you seed has germinated. You should record your germination time as the first time you saw growth. I don't start my seeds like you, I put them in a pot with soil after filing and soaking. The first signs of germination in this case is " Heavage"...when the soil raises and fissures appear due to the growth of the seed. "Poppage" shortly follows that and then they're off and running...ending up in your case with "Tonnage". Remember: Rootage--Heavage--Poppage....Tonnage ,...all highly technical terms worth memorizing.....G
