I spray in the evening and use the spray and grow at double strength. I mix it with the water soluble fertilizer which I also spray on the heavy side. I use a back pack sprayer and mix up the spray and grow with warm water and wait for about 20 minutes till it turns the water golden. I then add the fertilizer and mix and spray. I spray the entire plant, both sides of the leaves and the fruit. I have charted the growth and have seen as much as 1" more growth per day on 2 identical plants in the same garden. Try it on your tomatoes. It works great on all my garden and fruit trees.
One thing to watch is you need to fit it into your spraying schedule. You don't want to use any pestiside a few days either side of applying your spray and grow.
