Re: split stems


Interesting....The best one of my twin Papez 1020's did the same thing 
right after the fourth
leaf started growing.  It was very cold at night even with my heaters.  
Maybe a week or so
of cold nights followed by rapidly increased warmth in the day was too 
much for it.  After it split,
growth all but stopped so I closed  my eyes and pulled.  I replaced it 
with the now healthy but formerly runty twin Papez 1020.  I desperately 
wanted to grow both but it was in my best patch.  By the way
I am sure they were identical twins because as they grew you could see 
where one of the seed leaves
on each plant was deformed in an asymmetrical way as if they were 
siamese twins that were parted.
But let's find out what is happening with the stem splits.
