Weather be Damned....

Wicked weather continues to haunt my patch.  Low 60's during the day.  Dipping to 45 at night, and rain!!  It never rains in California in May.  What's going on here.  Seems like we've moved to Seattle or Canada or some other strange place......

I couldn't stand my little sprouts chilling out like that day after day, so I unleashed my secret weapon.  I would tell you about this wondrous device - but then.... it wouldn't be secret then would it??

In spite of the uncooperative weather,  Geneva Electric, the 922 Emmons - continues to electrify.  My neighbors have asked me about the strange glow at night in the front patch.  It's coming from that Emmon's plant.  It's growing in highly charged spurts - creates blue flashes at night.

Strange but true...  Deer won't go near it.  I wear rubber boots and gloves when I have to get close.
Safety first... Can't be too careful around that plant.

The 922 Emmons at nine days old dwarfs the 1016 Daletas.
Wing-span on the dicots is 10 1/2 inches
(six inch ruler is in background)

The Daletas plant which I planted next to the Emmons is even intimidated.  He'd move clear to the other side of the patch but his roots are holding him back.  Poor bastard knows what's coming.

What a strange year so far.... God only knows what gonna happen next.
