Jim,
You don't need any light to get the seeds to break ground, just a consistent
temp of 82 to 84 degrees is ideal. If kept at these temps (and the seeds
are good) they should sprout in 3 to 3 1/2 days. Once the plants are up get
them into some sunlight (not direct at first) and outside during the day (if
it is warm) to get the plant to slow down (so it doesn't become spindly) and
to acclimate to the outside temps. Also remember to protect from winds when
the plants are first put outside, they are very tender at that stage and
fragile.
