Thanks Russ.....actually the plant must have been out of the ground all day 
as it was totally wilted.  I do have another very fine plant to put in ...I 
just did not want the same thing to happen .......the hill or mound does seem 
awfully wet to me so I thought I might cover it over with black plastic to try to 
warm it up a little...plant goes in Monday night or Tuesday 
morning.............
