RE: Help for a friend

If it looks like a shoot, it may be a secondary main.
Secondary mains are sometimes as big and healthy as the main.

I never give up on a plant. They often turn out to be a big surprise!

Maybe start a back up just for good measure but give the 1385 some time.

A little sulfur or captan might be a good idea for the exposed broken
part.

Subject: Help for a friend

List,
Mr Ray Barenchi called, heartbroken. His 1385 Daletas broke off at the
stump. His best plant. He sees a little shoot coming up from the stump.
Can this pumpkin be saved? He asked me to ask you guy, since he is
internetically inactive.
Thanks for any advice you can give to this dear friend.
Kathie
