RE: Free Long gourd seeds

You are welcome, like you, I prepare my soil as I would for a pumpkin. I was
checking out a Serbian web site on LG's and they cautioned against too much
nitrogen.

Make sure your Trellis is strong, the plants exert a lot of pressure on the
trellis, last year
My trellis sank one foot into the ground under pressure from the plants. I
plan to space the plants 4 to 5 feet apart.

If any other growers have any advice I would appreciate any information on
LG's as I have only grown them for one year.

for them to emerge! Any pointers on how to grow a long gourd? I have never
grown one before. I assume its kinda like a giant pumpkin....one per plant

I was fortunate enough last year to receive LG seeds from Al Eaton's 88.5.
 
I grew my 89.5 from that seed. 
 
I will send 3 seeds to any grower who sends me a SASE.
 
If you grow the seeds please keep track of Lineage as Al Eaton is keeping
track.
