Kathie:
I canot imagine who you are talking about from Flowery Branch, LMAO.
The trophy you mention is the Southern Cup.
I would be glad to send this new grower some seeds if I knew who he is and
what is his
Address.
Good luck to all in 2005:

Hi Guys!
I can't remember the name of the trophy given to the biggest pumpkin grown
in the South.
Some of y'all know the one I mean.
Meantimes, there's a young man trying to grow his first big pumpkin in
Charleston, SC. I'm hoping you pros from Flowery Branch and other hot spots
will send growing tips to this list to get this chap off to a good start. He
especially anticipates trouble from SVBs and the heat.
Thanks to all who can help.
Kathie
