planting
This will be my first year planting pumpkins. I am confused as to how to
plant them. I read to make a hill abut 8 ft long and plant the seed on
the hill. I read to keep the pumpkin that is abut 8-10 ft from the main
plant. If I planted the seed in the center of the hill and the pumpkin
was 8 feet from the main plant then the pumpkin would be 4 feet from the
hill. The photos I see show the pumpkin on the hill. Do I plant the
seed 8-10 feet from the hill? Clarification please.
