Re: The Mother Pumpkin
Pete,
How's your season to date? How's your son doing?
I'm growing the 725 K Morgan, 805 Pukos and 1354 Checkon. David the 1079
Kline, 830 Wells and 649 D Morgan.
He already found a cuke beetle on his 649, but it's the only one we've seen
so far.
The usual mole tracks. Ants. The occasional earwig gets crushed between my
thumb and forefinger, and we keep a granular snail/slug/earwig bait on the
ground all around the plants.
Got corn at various stages, about 18 tomato plants, maybe 6 pepper varieties
(one plant each).
Patch beautification this year is yellow pansies, mixed color poppies and
ruby & hot pink impatiens.
I hope that you are well.
Kathie
