Fw: Plants up
Hello List,
I'm only growing for genetics this year: I couldn't help but to start three
yesterday: 893.5 Pukos, 449 Hester (seed is somewhat damaged, same cross as
the 1068 Wallace),
and a personal cross 709 Swalley (526.5 Chambers x 1279.5 Wyckoff)
I will be planting within two weeks:
983 Needham (805 Pukos x 845 Bobier)
764 Colbert (763 Biss x 1097.5 Beachy)
721 Larsen (695 Handy x 898 Knauss)
729 Hebb (783 Daletas x 875 Dill)
710 Boor (1370 Rose x sib)
1130 Lyons (842 Eaton x 1236 Eaton)
#3 Beachy cross (845 Bobier x 723 Bobier, same as 1097 cross)
#1 Beachy cross (935 Lloyd x 865 Mettler, same as 845 cross)
The six best plants will be transplanted near June 1, others used as backups
and will give away to local growers.
Let me know what crosses you'd try to make.
I'll keep a diary on the progress.
