RE: White Fuzz
Thanks for the solution, Don. I have a couple of questions. Can I use Copper
Sulfate instead of the Daconil? Would it have the same results? If the
problem with the mildew is excess moisture and cold temperatures, wouldn't the
foliar spray and molasses make the problem worse? I guess I'm assuming that
the molasses would be mixed with water or compost tea and sprayed on the plant
and surrounding area. I understand putting down kelp and the foliar spray with
molasses for the beneficial microbes in the soil, but I wonder about the spray
application of the molasses. I have heard of dry molasses. Is this an O.K.
substitute for wet molasses if it's worked into the soil? I'm not even sure
where one would get dry molasses! Nancy
