Regarding critters like cats, crows, and such:
It's hard to prove that it works, but we believe in CDs. Not
Certificates of Deposit (they are nice too) but Compact Disks.
We hang them in the patch so they can swing in the breeze and catch
the sunlight. The reflections create bright creatures scurrying
randomly around the ground. They can even startle a person, somewhat,
and we think they might frighten away some of our nervous marauders.
You know how you're always getting promotional junk in the mail on a
CD. Us too! We save ours. Or we use our old tax programs (really scary).
Everyone have a good season! We'd have planted water lilies or rice
had we known it would rain 40 days and 40 nights.
